Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, hosted the 9th session of the “Open Talk” series titled “Economy” at the Al Habtoor Group's head office. The session featured Dr. Abdulkhaleq Abdulla, Professor of Political Science, and witnessed a remarkable attendance from students of the University of Dubai, Higher Colleges of Technology – Dubai, and Emirates International School – Jumeirah.
The discussion covered various aspects of the UAE’s economic landscape. Al Habtoor emphasized that US-imposed tariffs have not affected the strength of the UAE economy, which continues to grow and thrive steadily. He praised the visionary leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, highlighting his pioneering initiatives such as the establishment of a planning council that helped lay the foundation for a progressive economic path.
Al Habtoor also stressed the importance of youth empowerment, recalling the passion and dedication of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, describing him as a role model in work ethics. “We are following the path he set,” Al Habtoor said, urging young people to acquire the necessary professional skills in their fields as a key element of success.
In conclusion, Al Habtoor stated that the real estate sector is currently one of the most promising and solid investment fields.
