Al Habtoor expressed to John Defterios the growing disappointment in the political climate in the United Kingdom, where public parliamentary debates on Brexit reflect a chaotic society, far from the expected civilized gentlemanly discussions. He added that his faith remains strong that London will continue being an attractive investment destination. On China, Al Habtoor believes that the newly-established trade relations are a major milestone for the United Arab Emirates, adding that the Far Eastern giant understands and appreciates the Emirates’ culture and business ethics.
